Traveling the World from the Comfort of Home

Where will we go next

The compensation I receive through affiliate programs helps me maintain the bookworm homeschool site and purchase new products and curriculum to use and share with my family and followers. Thank you!

We love maps here, and honestly my six year old son is better at geography than I am. He knows the oceans and continents, and can name most of the states on an unmarked map of the U.S. He even introduced me to countries I’ve never heard of before. Have you heard of Andorra? Located in the Pyrenees Mountains between France and Spain, this tiny country has a population of about 80,000 and is apparently a pretty hot tourist destination for skiing and shopping.

Needless to say, learning more about the world is high on our list of priorities. I’ve been mulling over the Little Passports subscription, and as an affiliate, I am being given the opportunity to try one out in exchange for a review, but I can’t decide which one to choose if I do purchase the subscription package. Should I start with the United States or go with the World Edition? It’s all so exciting! Have you tried the Little Passports program? I’d love to hear your thoughts about your experience. I’ve got a preschooler too that I’m thinking about getting the Early Explorers Edition for.

If you’ve never heard of Little Passports, here’s what I know. It’s a monthly subscription plan with three different options to choose from. Early Explorers is geared for ages 3-5, World Edition is for kids 5-10, and USA Edition is for kids 7-10. Each month a new kit will arrive at your door with activities, letters, souvenirs and other destination-specific items. I remember how much I loved getting mail when I was young, so I can only imagine how fun it would be to get a box in the mail that whisks me away to a new destination every month.

Do you subscribe to any programs like this to add fun and learning to your day? What’s your favorite?

Happy Traveling!
